Delays
- As a result of unplanned absenteeism due to illness, there are delays to some parcels sent by courier.
- Snow in the South Island has resulted in road closures causing delays to South Island Courier items.
Delays to Mail Items:
- Due to precautionary maintenance on some of our electric mail buggies, delays of up to 2 days are expected for mail items across the country. These delays only impact mail delivered through our Paxster fleet – not Courier or Rural items.
- As our posties continue to deliver mail with a reduced fleet and through other means of transport, there is a small backlog forming. This will clear once the Paxsters are back up and running.
Delays to Parcels:
- In the North Island, we are experiencing delays of up to 2 days (in some areas) for parcel delivery. Whangarei and Waikato regions are experiencing some delays that are greater than this (up to 3-4 days).
- In the South Island, we are experiencing delays for parcel delivery of up to 2 days in Dunedin and Invercargill.
We’re working hard to get all items to their destinations safely. Please bear with us as we work through these delays.
