★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty good store that has Indian, Chinese, Thai, South African, Malaysian etc foods. Plenty of dry bulk spices and jars and packets of sauces etc. Also carries frozen goods and cooking items from the sub-continent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the only place I go for herbs and spices etc. I use tumeric for back pain osteoarthritis, the tumeric is of the best quality, taking tumeric powder works way better than taking tumeric tablets, and if you also have a tsp of cinnamon it eventually takes away cravings for sweet things. I am always treated with respect and I have found there customer service exceptional. Buying your herbs and spices from them is better than supermarket herbs and spices they are of a better quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked about the western union they advertise as having. They have a send and receive cash sign above the literal register. I was told ‘we don’t do that here’. I called, about half an hour later, to ask why they were listed on not only google, but apple maps, and western union’s official website, as pickup and send facility. She mumbled something into the phone and hung up on me.
At no point was I rude, insulting, or mean. I asked a question, got a rude response, said thank you anyway, and left. I called back purely to ask if they had intentions of changing their status so this wouldn’t happen to people in the future.
If you’re going to give a place your business, give it to the vege and spice place across the street. This one is hateful and rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I manage to find everything in ingredients under one roof in this store for herbs, spices and frozen veggies, the kind that don't grow here in NZ. Need a better variety of rice, maybe in smaller bags. Great service by the one staff there, who is always available to help if you stuck trying find stuff.
If you looking for fresh (frozen) shredded coconut then I'd suggest the Vadilal brand. Among all I've tried so far, this one made to the top of my list.
