★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've read alot of bad reviews from this company but had to judge for myself. Just recently brought a car and dealt with 2 amazing women who took good care of me. Gave me food to eat with them on there lunch and also had so many good laughs definitely the life of the company if your looking for a car for a decent price and bad credit they are definitely worth having a look at ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought my girl friend a red Mini Cooper from here. They gave us a couple 100$ discount because the a/c didn’t work. They told us it has just finished and they will discount us for that, so we got the car and got the a/c refilled at our own cost. A few days later it stopped working so we got it checked and took it back to them but they refused to do anything about it. Then we had to get the a/c fixed because it had a leak. Told them to refund the car because the engine light and hand brake light came on and stayed on 3 days after purchasing the car. But they didn’t and said they will get it fixed. So we took it to their garage right next door and the mechanic did something and the lights went away and then he tried to charge her. But she refused and then they said it is algood. Few weeks later the engine light came on again, she took it back and they repeated the same thing. So she was fed up and kept using it, as it was her first ever car and it was for work. Anyway a few months passed by and the car would struggle to start, it would keep switching off. Even while driving it would just go off as soon as you break. We really would like to refund this car as it’s really dangerous but they just keep trying to fix it and nothing resolves. The other day she nearly had an accident because it stopped while driving. Now we have to drop her to work and I start work late. We will give them another try, otherwise we will take them to court, have already spoken to a few lawyers. Would never buy a car from here, especially European cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t do reviews but I have to do one for this car dealership.
I bought a 320i BMW 2005 at this car dealer and a day after the car wouldn’t start due to a dead battery. I’ve encountered a lot of problems just a day after I bought the car from a Cracked Alternator, Missing Wheel bolts, Dashboard light/BMW error codes coolant leaks and smoke coming out of the muffler. I’ve took it in countless times and they claimed to have fixed the problem but it’s was a halfway job. They’ve ghosted me since so I took it in to a experienced BMW Mechanic and they exposed everything they’ve done. They tried Glueing a rubber Pipe to my Water Pump which caused the coolant leak, to this day they said “it’s fixed” but the error codes and lights still appear which I am still trying to negotiate with them to fix what they claim to fix. Then my mechanic said there’s something wrong with the PCV valves which will cost me loads of cash and I’ve spoken to some lawyers and they recommend me to fixing it myself and having the car dealer reimburse my money.
From this experience I do not recommend buying a car from here but although customer service wise is decent just hope no one is encountering these problems because it is very frustrating

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RECOMMEND. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE CARS ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE AND WILL COST YOU ALOT MORE IN THE LONG RUN!!!! I went through 2 cars with this company. I paid $20K through finance for junk metal we have given them multiple chances to rectify the issue but instead chose to be arrogant and refuse to pay even though I was well and truly within my rights under the consumer guarantees act. I have also reported them to the commerce commission. I will be taking these guys to the Motor vehicle tribunal. If there is anyone else who has experienced the same or similar issues with this company please get in contact as this is unethical and unacceptable. For $20k you expect to have fully operational safe and reliable car. Issues were as follows.
1st car had a major oil leak,
terrible shaking
second key didn’t work
Transmission was stuffed
Engine light came on before I got home
Passenger window electrics broken
Back door didn’t unlock
Serious mould in the boot.
They accepted all faults and swapped for the 2nd car.
2nd car
Bold tyres
Overheating problem (said they fixed it) CLEARLY DIDNT because it happened again not even a month of owning it.
This key also doesn’t unlock/lock the car - replaced the battery not the reason.
A/C doesn’t heat or chill

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a Volkswagen Golf in May with a 3 month warranty if anything happened to it. 2 days after the 3 month warranty ran out I broke down on the side of the road after just having my baby. I had my newborn in the backseat while I was stuck on the side of a road for a good amount of time. The car is now still in the mechanics as it has been SIX times. I’ve been the only one to drive it and I drive incredibly responsible as I drive with a baby, and there are absolutely no scratches , dents etc. so these problems were already rooted when purchased. This car yard is not worth it. Reading everyone else reviews I should have never bought the car to begin with. Has been such a big inconvenience in my life.

And after 2 years they help me to sold the car as well. Which was really helpful for me. they are very helpful And staff are very friendly. Keep it up good work NZ CARS..

Even after a week, he called me to enquire about how the car is doing. I will recommend NZC if you are looking for a dealer who is true to his words and so does their cars. He was really helpful with the insurance as well. I will come back soon for the Ute.
