★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Oh Calcutta. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Atmosphere and ambience was lovely, and the food was amazing. Certainly going to be come back again, a lovely dining experience in Parnell.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. Everyone at the table said it was outstanding and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Even though we arrived 20 minutes late for our 8:20 booking they received us with beautiful energy, the service was amazing throughout the whole night, offering water refill constantly, the food was delicious one of the best places I've tasted so far. The ambient and decorations are high level, beautiful atmosphere for sure.
The whole team was super friendly, a 5 stars for service as well.
Good job Oh Calcutta team!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going here since they opened their doors. The owners are still always there to greet you and make you feel like you're a guest at their home.
The food is one of the best Indian in the city. True tandor and flavorsome dishes, which over the years are being fine tuned.
The decor of the restaurant is amazing and they have constantly updated it over the last couple decades. Major props for thriving in a cut throat industry for this long. Can't wait to go back!

We were recommended by friends, so we thought we'd test that theory out and try it out for ourselves
*The service was excellent we were catered like royalty by very friendly staff
*The waitress did our order! expecting her to forget an item or 2 - She tells us our order without missing a thing, that for us as regular customers dining out was outstanding
*The men were excellent making sure all the customers were all taken care of and double checking to see if anyone needed anything with water being refilled without question
*The restaurant decor was very nice it was low lit by candle lights
*Easily accessible to get to your table
*The tables were nicely presentable
*And lastly the food well the food was second to non the best we've eaten in Auckland - It's normally served mild but hot on request the food all around was better than expected it was an absolute pleasure dining here - Huge thanks to all the staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good: Great service, it was like everyone there wants to take care of you and all of them walks around with hand sanitizers. We were also very happy with how tasty the food was.
The bad: We ordered the Shanghai chicken dish but when about 1/4th of the dish was left we noticed a shrimp in the dish. Now it is fine with us but could be an issue for someone with a seafood allergy and it was definitely not meant to be in there. We informed the lady at the restaurant and she was very apologetic but we felt they didn't know how to handle a situation like that. She took away whatever was left of our dish but was never replaced or refunded. We were happy to carry on eating that but they just took it away without asking or offering anything, which felt strange. Everything else was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! Definitely in the top 3 spots in auckland to get your fix of Indian food. We tried the sweet chilli prawns and the billy goat curry. The goat curry was outstanding.
