★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great wee park to take your kids, especially if the like bike riding or playing on a nice playground. Toilet facilities and a Farmers market every Friday morning Good parking facilities. Plenty of open spaces and picnic tables, as well as good shade trees for that sunny Canterbury day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Ohoka market has been our regular go to many years. On a nice sunny day the market is packed with happy people and a multitude of stall with all sorts of supplies, be they food, clothing, plants, skin/health care or just a coffee or luxury bread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last day of the summer season for the market. The sun was out and the day could not be any better. The stand holders were happy for such a good last day. It was an amazing day to visit the market. We enjoyed a coffee and bought some vegetables and plants for the vegegarden.
