★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our Twin Coast Cycle Trail journey we stayed here at Okaihau Rail Stay. Such cool vintage railway carriages that have been transformed into a boutique accomodation experience. Facilities are neat and tidy, slept in a cozy five star bed in the carriage Bruce! We had the most enjoyable unique experience. Highly recommend!!

The grounds, setting and accommodation are immaculate and very unique, with the owners also very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location worked well for us as base for sections of the Rail Trail

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Okaihau rail stay in their motorhome park. The property was beautifully landscaped and the host was most helpful and friendly. Totally recommend this lovely spot. The accommodation looked spotlessly clean and very inviting - would love to stay in one of the carriages sometime. A great place for a getaway especially if you want to ride the cycle trail to Hoeke as it is just across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed over the long weekend and had a fabulous time. The place is quaint, and has a nice flat grass area for motorhomes. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and has a homely feel. Recommend if you are passing through or looking to do the twin coast cycle trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at the Okaihau Rail Stay is unique and well worth it. Situate right at the path of the Twin Coast Trail the trail can be tackled in either direction.The facilities are spotless and well appointed. A shuttle service can be added to the stay easily. Noeline is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.
