★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect simple accommodation if you want easy access to the Golden Mile, much better than staying in Blenheim or Renwick, especially if you intend to walk or bike to the best options. (It’s directly across the street from Hans Herzog and there are at least 9 other cellar doors within a flat 5k stroll.) You will need a car for shopping or going out in the evening, but the gorgeous surroundings make it more than worthwhile.
