β β β β β My new favourite place. Office staff friendly and helpful. Gorgeous sheltered estuary to play in the water & explore and a beach there too. Kids playgrounds, kitchen and toilet facilites round off the experience.

β β β β β It's a perfect spot for camping with your kids. Such a beautiful place with big kitchen, clean toilets and a nice playground. The change of tides is spectacular there. We'll be coming back for sure!

β β β β β Nz 50 years ago. A rare little seaside village with simplicity untouched with the rustic way of living. Surfing at high tide best with the right swell otherwise amazing harbour to walk / paddle board or say hi to the friendly locals. Just BOIL the water for drinking β¦.

β β β β β My new favorite campground! It has clean, tidy facilities and the people who run it are super lovely. It has a very safe, wholesome vibe and sits right on the most beautiful beach. I will definitely be visiting again!

β β β β β Really great place to spend a few days. The facilities were very clean and there was space to find a nice wee corner.
The staff were great to deal with and very helpful, especially the manager..she was great..thankyou!

β β β β β The most beautiful beach and campsite! Friendly staff, super clean facilities. I love the new gate at the front of the camp ground - it slows cars down, and reduces the number of cars traveling through the campsite unnecessarily. Thanks for a relaxing stay! Ps. Even got to see some dolphins while out kayaking!

β β β β β We didn't stay in the campground but spend some time in the reserve and on the beach. The cam looked very nice, quiet and well looked after. The beach was beautiful, sandy, safe for kids. We had there lots of fun! There is a little playground there as well with couple of swings. Great little place

β β β β β Just came back from another amazing holiday at Okains bay. It always amazes me when I come here. The beautiful safe beach, the birdsong. We have seen in the past a seal relaxing on the beach, dolphins coming close in, especially when out on a kayak. The native plantings are growing really well in the camping. ground. Clean facilties. Fantastic friendly staff. Added advantage this year was the gates which kept alot of the traffic out. Quiet place to relax. We love it. See you next year. ?
