★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a great walk. Beautiful coastal forest with a wide variety of trees and birds. Saw a Ruru which was super cool. Creek bottom looked like it had a lot of water recently. Lookout is a great destination with the toyota guardian prize there. Good views across to Makarori hill and down the beach. Connect it to a hill walk or into the neighbourhood next door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice short forest walk. Not recommended for small kids unless you can hold their hand for most of the walk since a lot of the trail is narrow and slanting down towards steep drops.
