★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful walkway which is now shut at Southern end due to Kauri Dieback disease. Head to Stillwater at low tide to check out Northern end :) amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great walk lots of stairs good workout take some water and good shoes as it can get slippery nice and shaded in some areas as you walk under some trees...it takes a good 2 hours...but you can turn around at any time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice track for running and walking. Parking can be an issue in the weekends, despite a lot of marked parking places. Dogs are not allowed past the bridge on the Okura side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great 3 hour bush walk north of Auckland. You get a bit of everything with this walk including Bush, boardwalk, few hills, steps and beach. You can do a loop so you come back part way along the beach during low tide so make sure you check the tides before you go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice track that feels surprisingly quiet and isolated given how close it is to the shore. Nice views and scenery as you take the track. It is worth taking the beach track if the tide is out when you visit as it is a nice break from the otherwise mostly bush track. Would definitely recommend as a day walk for hikers of all experience levels.
