★ ★ ★ ★ ★ . this is the place to go, if you're looking for good craft beers in Dunedin. The menu is interesting and the atmosphere is fun with groups of all ages enjoying celebrating with friends and family.The real deal with a good range of authentic craft beers and staff who know their stuff. Food was delicious, with a friendly fun atmosphere although hubby's serving of risotto was rather small. You just feel welcome and looked after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was fantastic, we were promptly greeted and seated. Menu had a few missing options for drinks but the wait staff were fantastic when asked about additional dairy free milks (soy was the only option listed). Selection was good, not too much, not too little. Food came out very fast and was spot on. Couldn't fault the food, will definitely revisit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was alright, service was terrible. Didnt get our table cleared at all, and we were there chatting for a very long time after our meals. No soda water, and served a shot of whisky (that we wanted with soda water) in a beer glass..... pork belly was tough and dry, pulled pork tacos were also dry, polenta chips were nice. Platter looked great. Slaw is the main ingredient to accompany alot of the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed Ombrellos. I got the Ombrellos big breakfast (picture 1), which was very filling. It was well cooked and the sauce on the potatoes was a good choice- light and spicy, but not overpowering. The bread was very nice as well.
The coffee was a bit cold when it came out, however, and a bit underwhelming and lacking in flavour, unfortunately. However, it was a nice experience overall. Kid friendly and nice staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately this place did not mirror our company that evening. Nice setting but our waitress was less than helpful and appeared somewhat offended when I asked what the market fish was and if there were any specials, which there wasnt. The reports on the eye fillet were good but I was disappointed with my lamb rump both in the minimal amount of lamb there was and it was not very tender. The venison was dry and served on over cooked carrots and runny mash.

There is a great collection of beers on tap and in the bottle. You choose !
They are nicely accommodating food allergies and offering several options.
Desert was also yummy!
I recommend to visit this place . You wont regret it !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some friends and I stopped in for a drink and a snack. Despite the rain it was cozy and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they had some great Kiwi beers on tap. Snacks were tasty too. We all agreed that we would gladly return. Also they have a really pretty patio that we didn't get to enjoy.
