Despite slight issues with 2 chairs and one of the leg of the dining table, they are so ready to reify the issues. Excellent to deal with and will order more from them in the future. ONE STOP FURNITURE SHOP
On the 8th of July I purchased a Dining Suite from One Stop Furniture Shop via Trade Me to the value of $598.
Expectations of delivery stated 2-5 days, however the seller was unable to uphold this, and after back and forth communication via email and phone, I requested a refund.
He then told me that a similar table was at their Whakatane branch if I wanted to check that out instead. So, I went to look at the table, it was a different colour and it had noticeable scratches on the table top.
I showed the scratches to the sales person in the Whakatane store and told him I definitely was not taking a scratched table home. He still tried to convince me to take it ??♀️. I then cancelled my order, and requested a refund. This was understood and agreed by all.
After many phone calls and email attempts I still had not received my refund of $598. Even though several times Arafat Hasan, the Manager, of the Tauranga branch in Greerton, told me my refund should show up soon. I have screenshots of emails
After the 21 July Arafat was no longer answering my calls or responding to my emails. So on the 5th Aug I decided to drive to Tauranga and meet Arafat in person, and demand my refund. He got a hell of a fright when I showed up, and proceeded to play dumb, oooh it should’ve shown up, I don’t know what’s happened. He then had a conversation in another language with the “accounts person” ? and told me it was getting sorted now.
A few minutes later he sent me a screenshot of a bank transfer of the refund going into my account. This was a fake screenshot… who does that?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give zero stars and still review, I would. 3 months after we paid our deposit and were told our order would be installed in 4 weeks, having been ignored and lied to, we finally received a refund today, after threatening legal action. Dealing with this company has left a bad taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered and paid in full for a laundry cabinet set up. Which they said will be 4 weeks. 3 months later still no laundry, they are so hard to contact. They lie every week and say they are coming but never show up. The worst company I have ever dealt with! I would never recommend.

Edit: Finally received couches today, owner personally brought them and apologised for the delay etc. Just needs better communication between manufacturer/salesman and owner as you have great products like I said.
Now I just realised they didn’t deliver the ottoman.
If you’re willing to wait a little longer, their couches are great but if you have a deadline, might be tricky to deal with.
Edit: Turns out they didn’t bring the ottoman along with cushions which we’ve been waiting for over 3 months now. Terrible service, no follow up. I won’t buy from them again.
