โ โ โ โ โ Another lovely place to visit in Auckland. It's just beside the Cornwall Park so it's a good walk/jog from the park. You can see the whole city from the memorial place. Worth a hike. But while enjoying the scenery, be careful not to step on the sheep poops, they're everywhere on the road.

โ โ โ โ โ You can drive your car to the very top but if you are more the walking tope like us is going to be a workout! The paths for walking are not really clear and sometimes we have to walk on the car path, but everyone is really respectful.
The views going up and in the top are amazing, specially if you come for a sunset.
The park close after sunset it depends the season.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice view from the top. It has a lot of cultural significance. Keep in mind it is all walking from the entrance and somewhat steep. Be aware there are no facilities at the top of the hill, i.e. bathrooms, water etc. so plan accordingly.
There are facilities at the bottom by the visitor center. For that matter, there is a Bistro Steakhouse there too. (When I visited however, the kitchen had closed almost an hour before advertised, so all the had was snacks and small dishes).
There is a museum and other buildings near the bottom as well. Take a few minutes and visit. It wont take long and has some good information about the area.
The grounds themselves are large. They have a lot of nice hiking trails. Great area for picnics as well.

โ โ โ โ โ Such a beautiful and natural place! On the way up you get to see mountains and hills of greens and sheep and when you get to the top you get to see a monument and the beautiful sky. Great place for pictures.
I gave it a 4-star because it is SUPER crowded with tourists everywhere so it is super hard to find a parking spot. I suggest leaving your car at which ever free parking spot you find and walk your way up and down.

โ โ โ โ โ This is one of the finest places of Auckland and you will find it amazing if you love the scenic beauty. You can see the complete city from up there and the view is awesome.
Don't go by the road, take the dirt road path, cross the farms, jump over some fencing and do some trekking to make your journey more thrilling.
P.S. I went there at around 7:30 PM thus the photos would be slightly dark.

โ โ โ โ โ What a divine piece of country in the middle of the city!! An absolute haven to take a lovely, long walk with the whole family or picnic under the tangled, moss-laden branches of the ancient trees. The clean country air, rolling fields and hills with the farm animals grazing peacefully gives this setting such a tranquil ambiance. The obelisk crowning One Tree Hill is a much-visited delight for both the history of and stunning 360ยฐ views to be enjoyed there. What a beautiful spirit-filled place to be.
