★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's much needed and awaited Statue of the legendary, generous Sir John Logan Campbell who donated / gifted some 230 acres of land to the Cornwall Park way back in early 1900s. Today his contribution makes Cornwall Park the best and most popular public park with all the park amenities within central Auckland. I think erecting this statue in 2020, though, after some 120 years of Sir John Logan Campbell's donation, is the right and the best thing.
