We have an outstanding team of staff at Onslow College.
In 2014, our Learning Area Leader Science, Terry Burrell, received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Science Teacher Prize.
Terry was awarded the prize for what colleagues and the judges describe as an infectious love of learning which excites and stimulates both students and other teachers to perform at their best. Read more on the Prime Minister's Science Prizes website
Also in 2014 Mathematics Teacher Esme Danielsen received a Woolf Fisher Fellowship. This award provides overseas study and travel for outstanding secondary school principals and teachers, polytechnic senior managers and, most recently, primary and intermediate school principals.

edit: unlike wellington girls' college, here at onslow i can express my superior fashion taste which consists of socks and roman sandals without the principal calling them ugly. great place if you want to strut your stuff with freedom!

β β β β β Legitimately a fantastic school. A teaching staff who are passionate and involved, and have struck the perfect balance of teaching and respect for students. It's a school that doesn't prioritize one thing over another, and excels everywhere- from it's academics (It's Physics and Robotics teams are fantastic), to Sport and all the different arts. I've had a fantastic time here, and recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Also it's pretty liberal.
