s	sarah jane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ read somewhere this track lead to the river, well it was a nice walk and me and my 3 year old son did about half the track and then walked back instead of doing the loop, check the track later that day and realised it was no where near the river but a nice walk with a steep incline at the start and lots of dense bush coverage
K	Kennedy Dawson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good workout for 60 plus but well worth the effort. Great bush walk and sunny spot at the top. We kept straight on at the fork which took us up the ridge first. Bit of a puff at times but the last third was a doddle albeit a bit steep and slippery to start the way down.
A	Alister Grey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did enjoy the walk, but don't believe DOC when they describe it as 'easy'. There is a good amount of climbing, little steep in places. If you struggle with the first 5 min, then going to struggle with the entire loop. Wouldn't recommend taking a stroller around for example. Took us 1.5hrs to walk.

There is a lot of up & down hill sections, plus tree roots, etc. There was no view of the gorge, but the forest views were varied & beautiful. We didn't see or hear any other groups which was nice. There's heavy forest cover over much of the track so make sure you do this with good daylight or carry torches.
A	Amanda Webb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely loop track walk. Lots of native birds to enjoy, fantails, bellbirds, waxeyes and native pigeons. Track was quite muddy in places, but the beauty of nature outweighed the mud. Boots and trousers can be cleaned off later.
