★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for an overnight camp. Quiet area with great toilets and a wide open park area. A short walk to the fantastic Woodbury Cafe - dog friendly (clean water bowls, “pet parking”).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have hired the hall a few times - expensive to hire compared to other places, and owner is has very high standards which are difficult to attain to when cleaning up. Great hall and grounds but would be hesitant to hire hall again as can never seem to get it right no matter how hard you try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to stop on the way to inland Canterbury. Less that 2 hours easy drive from Christchurch, conveniently close to Geraldine and well off the main road so it's blissfully quiet. There's loads of space for kids and dogs to play. The simple facilities are well looked after by the local community that asks for a donation and certainly deserves it.
