★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love this place! The food is great and the service is pleasant too..with a new dinner menu and drinks, Oro is great for a date or catching up with friends. It's a very well designed space and I like that it's a quaint and peaceful place. I had lamb ribs that were to die for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in just the other day, don't know what happened but it took too long to get menus, too long to get water, my dad got the wrong order and in reply the waitress said "so you don't want it?" Unacceptable service. Especially when it wasn't busy at all. My brothers fluffy was forgotten about.
Everything else was fine, food was good along with atmosphere and decor but just being an organised café is key. So sad about this experience, will visit another time hoping it will be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's our New Local now, staff were friendly, Service was Awesome, not long after we ordered our Breakfast was served. They were great, we were only meant to be getting coffee before heading to the Avondale Markets. My partner & I will be seeing more of this place. The New Venue is just Breathtaking. I fully reccomend this place to All, Oro's Big Breakfast will now be my go to...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice ambiance, love the landscaping, prime location, neat and tidy. Staff are accomodating. Decent food and serve organic coffee. Needs more choco punch in the mocha otherwise very yummy delectable. Well come back for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing decor and courtyard gives a relaxing and cosy vibe to it. Breakfast menu is good, typical of cafe breakfast, service is also good. Owner was nice to offer to bring out our coffee out but politely declined as we just wanted to take photos of the wall and courtyard ?

I can't give any more than a 2 star.
The foods presentation was sub par.
The foods taste is below average.
The coffee was average.
The service was great, which is why it's not a 1 star.
These guys charge typical Auckland prices, but severely under deliver.
There's too many epic cafes in Auckland.
Avoid this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a chef here on Sunday who is outstanding, other times I wonder if the chef has a different palate to the food they're serving. Regardless the ambience is pleasing and service is great! Licensed too so very nice for an afternoon beer of cheeky glass of bubbles. Often there's a band on a Friday or Saturday too. Most enjoyable.
