Established in 1901, the “Jewel of Kāpiti” is a welcoming course with greens that will seldom disappoint even the most passionate of golfers.
New memberships are on offer at very competitive rates. Our Junior Golf programme is outstanding and has resulted in some very good teenage golfers who often play with our more matured members.
Ōtaki Golf Club is open open 7 days a week with hire clubs, trundlers and a large stable of electric-carts available.
Our 19th is a congenial space offering fresh sandwiches, savouries and the like, which are complemented by a well stocked bar including craft beers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little course, with well maintained greens. Major negative with the guy in the office/bar. Everything is too much trouble for this gruff, curt, rude and unwelcoming guy.
If you are prepared to put up with NZ"s answer to Basil Fawlty you will enjoy Otaki if not like me play Levin or Waikanae instead.
