β β β β β Great place for a proper nature walking in Tauranga free from crowds and the sounds of city life. We went on a day where it had rained the night before so there were a few slippery/muddy areas. There are also a few steep area's so good footwear is needed. Will be back to do the other walks.

β β β β β Great local track. It is a ring track so It works it's way through native Bush to the top of the hill where there is a look out, then back down to the car park again on a good day you can see Mt Ruapehu.

β β β β β A quiet and peaceful walk through the bush. Upon arrival to the summit we were treated to fabulous views of the Bay of Plenty and could even spot Mt Ruapehu off in the distance. A few steep parts in places and the track can get quite slippery after rain but it is well worth the hike
