★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brand new pools and spas were immaculate. Pity they shut the pools at 9pm over summer when the sun is still up and it was plenty warm enough to keep swimming.
Also there's not a single cup spoon plate etc in the kitchens even to just get a cup of water. Clean facilities all round. $72 for a tent site for 3 people and a dog. We'll be back :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. Nice pool but our family were left to swelter and kids disappointed when staff member closed it an hour earlier than advertised giving no good explanation. Cabin needing maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This would be the worst place we have stayed in. We were traveling with dogs and your camp rules are the most over top I have ever seen. The on lead rule only seemed to apply only to a few of us, a Boarder Collie was off lead the whole time.
The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have slept on in a long time, you are only provided with one pillow per person if you want a second they charge you 2 dollars.
In these times of Covid I would have thought the least that the manager would have had a mask on.
Glad we only stayed one night very noisy location

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short drive away from Waitomo makes this holiday park a great stay with a new courtyard and heated pool + 2 spa pools. we had everything we need in our studio unit which has cooking facilities and own bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful and the most noisest road for truck bypass ever! Worst holiday park we have ever stayed in. Far too many rules for dog owners and their dogs! Did not really feel welcome here and the owner couldn't even be bothered to wear a mask!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place needs to update their website. The websites photos don't do the place justice. It's so much nicer and much more modern then is shown. Staff are nice. Check in was easy. Prices are well worth it. Only downside is we needed to stay longer but can't because I didn't book longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only pro..decent clean facilities, many cons- full time residents on the bong 8 in the morning. Railway noise and 24 hour quarry churning away for back ground ambience. Place caters for emergency housing and shouldn't try to cater for campers.
