‘Achieving the best possible academic results is a goal for all Catholic schools. In its academic standards, the Catholic school is required to be “at least as outstanding’ as other schools in its area.’
(Catholic Education of School-Age Children Document 2014 p18).
We are a Decile 4 Integrated Catholic multicultural primary school catering for boys and girls aged 5 ~ 11 years from Year 1-6.
The roll stands at approximately 150-175 children/tamariki by the end of the school year. We are one of three Catholic primary schools in Palmerston North and work collaboratively with a Palmerston North Catholic KΔhui Ako for the Good of ALl.
THE CATHOLIC CHARACTER OF OUR SCHOOL/KURA
The Special Character of a Catholic School is defined in the Integration Agreement as follows:
“The school is a Roman Catholic School in which the whole school community through the general school programme and in its religious instructions and observances, exercises the right to live and teach the practices, worship and doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church, as determined from time to time by the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese.”
We are disciples of Jesus and work to LIVE, LEARN and LOVE to be the HEAD, HEART, VOICE and HANDS of Jesus in our community. This is then supported by the Mercy sister’s Charism, Mission and Vision.

and went to great events like interschools cross country , mathex 3 years in a row! and rippa rugby. Awesome teachers and friends, plus this school has tons of ipads like 1 per 2 people. i think everyone should come to this school.
Will miss everything bout this school
10/10 would come here again.

β β β β β As an ex student of this school,my experience here was amazing I'd say the bullying rate at this school is slot smaller than others because the school has very strong and strict rules against it,I gained a lot of confidence in myself and the school really helped me to be the best version of myself. Would definitely recommend this school to others in my opinion it's one of the best primary schools in new zealand.
