★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we first used PackGearGo, we were looking for cycle gear. Warren couldn't have been anymore helpful with helping us choose our bike packing gear for our South Island trip. Warren gave us advice, options & also let us see some of the products before going ahead & purchasing it. We ended up setting up both our bikes with Ortlieb bike packing gear plus also camping bits to take with us.
We were really impressed with the service & also all communications of letting us know when the products would be arriving & when we would be expecting it.
We have gone onto using PackGearGo for hiking gear plus also promoting to family & friends who are also into the great outdoors.
Thanks Warren for the top products, selection & great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to go to his shop for one reason to get some ice camprons for a tramping track in Nelson Lakes and did not know anything about that shop but as soon as I arrived I realized that this place is not like the other shops. The owner of the shop has got such an amazing customer service, kindness and provides the best gear for outdoor adventure for a fair price. Everyone who needs some gear should visit his shop and get inspired by his beautiful little shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband arranged for sleeping bag rentals here before we began the Abel Tasman track for our honeymoon. We flew out from the US and didn't want sleeping bags taking up space on our month long visit to NZ. Warren never showed up at the agreed upon time, leaving us without sleeping bags and ruining our trip.
I'm SO GLAD we rented a car just to drive all the way out to his compound and wait for two hours for nobody to show up. We're out not only the money for renting a car just to drive out to his place, but having to purchase sleeping bags for the trip as well.
If I could give this service 0 stars I would. Do not use this EXTREMELY unreliable service unless you want your trip, and a part of your honeymoon, ruined.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a 6 moons 2 person tarp plus insect tent for doing (sections of) the TA.
I've had 4 nights in to so far, one in drizzle which froze overnight.
It proved easy to pitch, fun to fiddle with the fine tuning (to as I'm that kind of guy) and very spacious for 2 people.
I'd recommend it, but NB you do need adjustable poles!
