He provided great advice on how to pack the gear and then repacked it all onto a pallet for safe delivery. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shipped six boxes of personal effects to the UK because I was migrating. Friendly in-store service from Robert was great. Unfortunately there was vague advice about VAT and duties at the UK customs, so I had to wait an extra month and liaise with UK customs and DHL ourselves. P&S did not help with this at all.
It took almost 8 weeks instead of 4-6 as advised. I provided some feedback about the missing steps in P&S process in hope that future customers are not left guessing and frustrated like I was.
Temper your expectations when it comes to sending items overseas with P&S. Their assistance seems to end once the items leave the warehouse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a rug to Albany pack and send be sent to my mother in the wairarapa yesterday 19/7/21. My mum text me at 3.15pm today 20/7/21 to say the rug had arrived. I asked the very helpful customer service lady how long it would take. She said maybe tomorrow but def this week sometime. I was happy with that. But …. ? overnight and it was with her. Thank you so much. No other company would take it or even recommend who would take the rug. I’d use this company again in a heartbeat and suggest you do too. ?

And that's exactly what the team at Pack & Send Albany did for me! They collected the item from the seller's door, making it very hassle free for her, then packaged it up so safely, it arrived in perfect condition. I was very impressed with their packing methods! They even delivered to my door. The whole transaction was so easy and Rachael was lovely to deal with. Thank you all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed to ship two crates of household stuff to the UK from Albany. Fortunately, I noticed Albany Pack & send while driving down Constellation Drive. They quoted me various options, and explained exactly what each option entailed. I opted for the stuff to be shipped to my door. They took care of all the admin and advised me on how to do a TORS application with UK customs. A couple of months later, I was advised by the UK freight company that the stuff was due to arrive soon and that they needed the TORS application. I provided the TORS application, and the stuff was delivered as arranged with no hassle whatsoever. They packed my stuff very nicely indeed, and they took care of all the paperwork. There were no unexpected extra costs on top of what I paid them, which was great. I can't recommend Albany Pack & Send highly enough. I would not hesitate to use there service in future.
