Yet another lazy pitch into the tired and unimaginative, but eternally fruitful, Irish Pub market. A stunningly poor selection of beers is, presumably, the hipster's angle on Gealic authenticity. Likewise the pokey and needlessly intimate environment, not the place for a private chat or quiet introspection.
Would probably have been more generous if the staff wore the masks they were happy to dangle from their ears.

We went after a meal and were just going to have a quick drink. However we were there for over 2 hours listening to the Irish singer and talking to the very friendly staff and other patrons. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like stepping into a little Dublin pub, this place really brings some true Irish charm to Christchurch. Service is great, Guinness is on point and floor stomping live music brings it home.
An absolute must visit and a place to make your regular ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been many times and it is my favourite bar now. The staff are great, the live music smashes it out every time. Such a great atmosphere.
Have spent many hours in Irish bars but this is tops. A must visit if you haven’t been.
