★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can’t say enough good things about Micky Finn’s! The service was superb, and the staff were super friendly. The food was awesome - it came out quickly and of high standard. Really good value for money. It cost the two us under 40 dollars for a main meal each. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here many times, the bands are always great. The bouncers upstairs always seem to be respectful and friendly, Ethan the bartender has absolutely fantastic energy and am always impressed with his service. You're greeted with a smile and positivity, absolutely love this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Micky Finn's is located above Rockpool and is a terrific venue if you are looking to rock out to some great tunes and have a great night. Their sound guy Jack is does a brilliant job mixing the bands and the staff were awesome and treated us really well! Looking forward to playing there again!

The drinks are reasonably priced, especially for Christchurch, but the bar staff are really what makes this place pop. Music can be kinda hit or miss but overall, can recommend this place over the Rockpool any day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heading into an old watering-hole, it was great to see twenty-years on this place is still operating even after the earthquakes! Unfortunately, the bar staff let this place down. We were a group of six, told to sit anywhere we like and service would come to our table. The place wasn't busy so after twenty minutes one our team approached the bar and asked to be served. Fifteen minutes later we were still not served even after catching the attention of the waitress who nodded at us then walked in the opposite direction to talk to her friends at another table! Thirty-five minutes and no service.... we left bitterly disappointed and not in a hurry to go back!
