About Paintball Extreme
In 1999, Bay of Plenty local Paul Beckett designed the very first Blokart - a land-based sailing yacht that would soon take the world by storm. Today, Blokarts are used for leisure sailing on beaches and tracks around the world, and land-sailing has become a competitive international sport.
In 2009, the Tauranga inventor recognised a need for a second activity to offer customers in Tauranga when the conditions weren't suitable for Blokart sailing. And thus, the Electric Drift Trike was born.
The opportunity to combine Blokarts and Drift Trikes with epic outdoor shooting games came when the business moved to Trustpower Baypark in 2017. The existing owner of Paintball and Laser Tag was ready to move on, so BayStation took the reigns and we've been here ever since!
We love providing adrenaline-filled activities for Bay of Plenty locals and visitors to the region. We hope to see you in our neck of the woods soon!

Lack of enthusiasm from 1 staff member especially was a let down. Spent alot of $$ on 8 kids birthday ;( felt a lack of care, even one of the kids said, wow he hates his job. A real shame. the kids didnt really feel pumped. Needs abit of passion and excitement. Would of thought this place of work would be awesome! Maybe the right person would turn this place around. Great potential and location.
