★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We do our weekly grocery shopping here, as the prices tend to be lower than other places, except for Jimbos cat food. The trolleys needed collecting, we had to search for a shallow trolley in the car park. Thankfully we are not forced to wear a mask here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Specials are a constant source of annoyance , frequently at the checkout we have brought the discrepancy in princing , today we had 3 items that were not discounted as listed , and this is not the first time .it is time this was sorted - not impressed!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great store although needs to have more cash options available, grabbing a few things and having to wait 30mins in a long queue because your self checkouts don’t take cash and your express lane isn’t always open is not good enough to people who use cash regularly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at the counter was waiting for someone, so then I waited and while I was waiting I asked if I could put my stuff on the conveyor and she said no, so I went to the other counter, then another lady went to that exact counter and asked if I could put my stuff on the conveyor and she said yes. So that lady was being racist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have covid and the person who did my shopping picked up a salad bag that had gone bad, it wasn’t edible. I couldn’t go in the store and emailed about it, not really expecting to hear back, and someone emailed me back and dropped off a new salad at my door. How unbelievably kind. Thank you paknsave!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the store ok but the fruit & veg is terrible. Little choice and what is available is often not very fresh. Have shopped at other pak n save stores in Auckland and other parts of NZ and they're far better so wish the Papamoa one was better. Would love to shop here but will shop elsewhere unless it improves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have made huge savings by shopping here. There is a greater variety of products. Some shelves are not as full as others but they put signage up indicating the shortages of products, which although it’s inconvenient if you’re looking for a specific item, it is very useful information. We have been served at checkout by very friendly staff who pack the items into the trolleys with care. That may not matter to some people but it matters greatly to us because we don’t enjoy squashed bread or broken crackers etc. We appreciate the care that the checkout staff show in Customer Service. Awesome Place & Staff ?
