★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Malaysian food we've had in Wellington. Our first experience of thosai/dosai in New Zealand. Supposed to be for lunch, we were there for dinner. The owner made it for us anyway after seeing our disappointed face. Came because our friend recommended. Braved the rain and severe weather—did not disappoint! The satay sauce, OMG, the SATAY SAUCE! We were in heaven.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been to this place heaps and Everytime I go out there I say to myself that I will click some snaps of the dishes that I order. However, once the food is on the table I simply forget it due to the mouth watering aroma and the hunger that kicks in. I am a fanboy of this place. Amazing service great food. PS: If you not a great spice lover (Hot food) do let them know ur pref beforehand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food with average service. The goat curry (bone in) was very good and held its flavour, as was the mamak mee goreng. Several people ordered the chicken dosa special, which looked huge! The service was very slow. Most of our group had almost finished their lunch before the last person was served (we had to ask if they’d remembered the order). Then some were offered special Father’s Day desserts (but no cutlery to eat it with) and others weren’t. It gets very noisy in the restaurant when it’s busy, so it may be a different experience on weekdays or when it’s not lunchtime or dinner time.

I was sad moving out to Lower Hutt away from amazing curry places in wellington city. And was impressed how delicious Pandan Asian is!! It doesn’t look like too much from the outside but the food is incredible! Every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding and with good sized portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon Pandan on Friday night. What a delight ...authentic flavours and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Ordered clay pot fish curry , Mee Hoon Goreng
Chicken chops and Egg Chanai. Mouthwatering aromatic dishes cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced and good quantity. Will be going back to try their famous Ikan bakar. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to wait for an hour to get stir-fry dishes! People who came few minutes after us had their food and left! Our entrée was served after the main! If we were to wait for an hour for our food, we could have been told it's a long wait. Otherwise our entrée should have been served first. Very disappointing!
