★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Papakura art gallery is a hidden gem. The exhibitions are always interesting and current, and the workshops are amazing. Just today you were able to get your portrait taken by a professional photographer for free which was amazing and I had so much fun with my friend, as well as there being some great photos. The venue is small but the work changes regularly. If you're popping through I'd suggest a visit to see what they have on at the moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small in size, big on impact! Lovely staff who manage this modest Council-owned art gallery. They regularly have art projects to involve the community, and are open to suggestions etc. The exhibitions change often, and are varied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well set out gallery with excellent presentation of the art of colorizing aerial photographs and pertinent landscapes from the late '40s and '50s
tenure of White's Aviation. Thoroughly worth a quick visit. The AV presentation is particularly enchanting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice facility with a smaller entrance gallery and a larger main gallery. Both had good collections for viewing when we visited. Close to the main street with parking available it's an easy place to visit, so it's worth checking their web site to see what's on.
