★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big bar, cheap liquor, only 1 tap working in the ladies, pokies, tab, pool table available, can't lock toilet doors..typical landlord doesn't want to spend $ to fix up the place..friendly bar staff, kareoke night life.. Be prepared to say no when asked you got a spare smoke from the scabs out there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great night at the tavern...sure enough..it's a blast from the past...but it is reassuring to know...there are still places you won't get kicked out for being just a wee bit over the limit...the nice people stick out...the pretenders are obvious..and the beer is cold....so..take a walk on the wild side...Smile..Enjoy...I did...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an OK bar. Came here around lunchtime on a weekday. Quiet place to have a quick drink. Wouldn't stay too long. A lot of foot traffic coming in and out of the pokie room. Prices for drinks are on par with the rest of the bars around Papakura.
