★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöner schwarzer Sandstrand mit tollem Ausblick. Von hier ergibt sich ein toller Ausblick auf die bewachsenen Felsinseln und den Paritutu Rock. Diesen Hügel kann man auch besteigen. Normalerweise ist das nicht gefährlich, kann bei schönem Wetter und Warteschlangen etwas dauern.
 Very nice black sand beach with a great view. From here there is a great view of the overgrown rocky islands and the Paritutu Rock. You can also climb this hill. Usually this is not dangerous, it can take a while if the weather is nice and there are queues.

Right on the edge of a westernmost place in NZ, you will see the gleaming hues dancing on the tumultuous waves over the horizon as the sun slowly dipping into the dark sea and vanishing. Nearby three monadnocks add unforgettable beauty to the scene creating dark colourful silhouettes.
