Unfortunately had to leave less than 2 hours after arriving....this was due to a patched gang members actions in indicating he was going to break into our vehicle (a classic car parked near the entry). This was after we requested to change rooms initally as it literally reeked of an idian smelling incense! Who would want to sit in a room smelling of that! We did not use any of the facilities and chose to leave. Next day asked the hotel to review the cctv footage to show why we were not comfortable staying and chose to leave (requesting a refund).....only be told that we were effectively lying and laying the fault on us. Pretty dispicable attitude to customer satisfaction as far as we are concerned. It was only $135, so I have told them not to even bother with the refund....I'll merely provide this feedback for others to decide. After looking at google reviews, appears to be a common practice when it comes to customer service and horrible smelling rooms with no opening windows so you can't even air it out. Worst hotel experience we have ever had in NZ. Good luck getting repeat business while operating like this!

Upon arrival, the building smelt strongly of Indian incense sticks, with no prospect of fresh air as there were no windows in our studio — not off to a great start. We dropped our bags off and headed out to grab dinner, and when we got back there were no more onsite car parks left. What is the point of having a booking system for car parks if they aren’t guaranteed?! I spoke to the lady at reception about this (relatively sure she was one of the owners), who was less than helpful. We ended up parking on the street. Day two, because we checked in late upon arrival, we decided to head to reception to see if we should pay now or the following day upon checking out. When I entered debit/credit card details on Booking.com (when I made the booking), it said I wouldn’t be charged and that card was purely for booking confirmation. As I spoke to the lady at reception, she said they had already charged the card that was provided to Booking.com — not sure if they’re allowed to do this, but fine, whatever. Turns out my card was charged the credit card fee (when it is a debit card...) and I spoke to the lady about it upon checking out, she said the fee would get refunded but nothing came through. The room itself wasn’t exactly impressive for what you pay. The bed was comprised of two singles pushed together. Both the rubbish bins were broken, the flush on the toilet was broken, the (severely stained) duvet inner was in between two flat sheets instead of a duvet cover. Overall, really underwhelming experience and wouldn’t recommend unless you’re desperate!

Immaculate apartments. No outdoor area to enjoy although there is a pool area. Check in can be frustrating if you arrive late

Would have given five if the toilet brush wasn't so filthy. I threw it in the bin. Hope they didnt put it back.

Best apartment we have ever stayed in, room was lovely and very quiet due to the double glazing, it was perfect for our short stay.

My stay was very unenjoyable. Walked in the building with strong smell of garlic and stale air. The building seem to not have any windows anywhere except for the front door, ventilation is very poor which is a huge concern due to covid. The room was pretty average, expensive for what it was. It didn't smell and feel clean. There was a strong smell of air freshener in the room to cover the foul smell running through the building. Fridge and kettle were not working. The shelves were sticky and dirty, had to apply a bit of force to get the cups off the shelves! Aircon unit was inadequate to cool the room. The toilet was dirty, i had to call the manager after hours to clean it. There were something dried up on the toilet seat which didn't look like urine with the brown/red colour. The toilet had skid marks and hair shavings. The bed was very hard made up of 2 single beds. Overall waste of money, could've gotten a room at the Hilton for the same price if they weren't completely booked out. Would not recommend, save your money, sleep in the car if you have no other options.

There are absolutely no windows that will open in the room!! There is a air-conditioning unit directly next to the bed.... however the noise and light glaring from this meant sleeping wasn't possible. There are also no lifts to the upper floor.
