Parka was established in 2012 by Amadee and Lance Parker-Wadham; it’s an Insurance Planning Business designed to maximise insurance value to clients – every time.

Kate from Parka met us and took us through our options for adjusting our various life, trauma, tpd and income protection insurances. Kate acted in good faith, was super friendly, open and honest and was always available to provide options and answers to our questions. Whilst it took a while to work through, and due to ourselves being an older age, the new coverage obtained and recommended by Kate, was better value for money plus we have built a new relationship which we have huge trust in.
Parka are more local to us which makes meeting regularly in person more possible and we are keen to ensure that we review our insurances regularly to maintain relevance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "I have had medical insurance for as long as I can remember but as it has gone from just myself to a family of 5 the costs have somewhat risen over the years.
We found ourselves struggling with payments as there have been a couple of redundancies between my husband and I, that I was considering taking the risk and scrapping the insurances to try and free up some more money each week. As luck would have it at that time I met Kate Harris from Parka Insurance and she offered to look over my insurance policy's and see if there was anything she could do.
It didn't cost me anything and she said if she couldn't increase my cover for the same cost or keep what I had and make it cheaper then it was no problem but at least I would know.
Turns out she managed to save us $20 a week in the Health Insurance and get the same coverage. Then all I did was sign a form and she transferred everything no hassle or cost to me. Even better is now knowing if we do need to make a claim I can go to her and she will get it all sorted I don't have to deal with it. She is just a phone call, email or coffee (wine) away.
I can not recommend the team at Parka Insurance enough. If you have insurance and haven't reviewed it in the last 2 years or more then go make a time to have a coffee and see what they can do for you. Never knew you are supposed to review it every 2 years I had set it up years ago and just presumed it was fine".
