★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable, Ed and the team always take it to the next level. Pictures really don't do the amazing quality, attention to detail or sheer gumption of the team. The food is excellent, the drinks match are excellent. I haven't been so satisfied by a meal as I am when I come here. I can't wait to come back for .y third time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to come here because it was my last chance before I left Auckland. They were very supporting of my last minute booking, considered I booked only 8 hours before service.
First impressions were excellent, decor was very cost, introduction was great. The chef made the ambience very friendly.
For me, considering it's my first experience in these kind of high number of courses with drinks matching, it wasn't to my expectations.
I had heard high reviews from colleagues about this place, but out of the 14 courses I had, I like only 5-6 of them. That said, considering it was my first experience, it could be that I just wasn't used to the unique flavours that the chef wanted to present.
The high rating was for everything else. I'm not that picky about my food, I just about eat everything that's not green. I did surprisingly like the greens that were served in most courses.
Overall, would recommend to others to dine in Pasture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed - The website is at best unclear and at worst deliberately misleading. We thought we were booking to eat at Pasture but it turned out we were booked into Boxer even though we received a specific confirmation email from Pasture detailing what to expect when eating at Pasture and all correspondence coming from the the Pasture email address. At $200 per person, Boxer is a total rip off, its technique over substance, basically drinks with nibbles - We would never recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend such a wonderful dining experience. Not only was the food and flavours outstanding and unique but the service was outstanding and the interiors and details made the whole experience. The price is very high but certainly worth it for a night of something a bit special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an incredible, intimate and fascinating dining experience. Pasture has to be one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The night was filled with impeccable ambiance, service, food and drink/ wine matches. To see the chefs cook and assemble such delicious, delicate and complex dishes right in-front of you was exciting and impressive.These dishes were interrupted by familiar and comforting carbs such as crumpets and pretzels but they were unlike any crumpet or pretzel you have ever had before. We had an array of different drink matches throughout the night which were a mix of new/old world wines, natural wines, innovative cocktails and even a sake. The service was without fault and every single person you came across at Boxer/ Pasture were amazing at their jobs. I cannot fault the experience my partner and I had at Pasture - It is worth every dollar and more.

From the cool and intimate setting, the kind and caring staff who have an undeniable passion for their craft, to the food which challenges, surprises and delights with every mouthful, perfectly highlighted by the masterfully curated paired drinks.
Pasture is high art that celebrates food in a way that only the very best chefs know how to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the fish sandwich and the salmon on rye. We really enjoyed the balanced and comforting flavors. There were also some tempting donuts (smoked raspberry, sorrel cream options), pastries and bread to buy on the spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful meal at Pasture. The menu is innovative and unique - many dishes challenge the thinking on flavour combinations, but were delicious and truely an experience to consume. The wine pairings all matched the dishes well and were generously poured. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the ambience was great. Looking forward to returning some day.
