I have had several dozen items adjusted by them, in some cases quite major restructuring, and the result has always been of the highest quality. As someone who is (obsessively) picky about fit, it is always relieving to know that I never have to worry about over-sized or ill-fitting garments. I will continue to do business with Payne Tailors. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible workmanship - avoid at all costs. I took my favorite blazer in to be altered and it was butchered. Holes in the lining, seams exposed and coming apart, loose threads, and a bad fit were only a few of the issues. I then returned to complain. The owner grudgingly agreed to fix their awful work and I agreed (big mistake). Many of the original issues were fixed, but the fit was still terrible and they actually cut a hole in the fabric of the jacket itself which is impossible to repair. Paid $100 for the privilege of having my favorite jacket completely ruined. Never again.
