About Burger Burger Newmarket
At Burger Burger, a love of good food, good people, and good times has always been at the heart of what we do. Launched in 2014, the concept was simple: to serve delicious, honest burgers, sides and drinks using quality ingredients at an affordable price. Our first 50-seat store in Ponsonby was a roaring success and the rest is history.
Our food is ethical, nutritious and delicious – and that is something we will never compromise. We believe in the power of food to bring people together, and as well as offering genuine and slick service, we wanted to be a laid-back meeting place where friends and family can have great chats and bond over a burger. If we can brighten someone’s day by sitting down and having a laugh over something delicious to eat, then we know we are doing our job properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was once a time when Auckland had zero burger game and I welcomed Burger Burger. The best we had at that time was Burger Fuel, and let’s be honest, that didn’t really hit.
But sadly in a world where we have Baby G Burger and Cantine, Burger Burger is no longer near the top so I’m dropping it to 4 star.
Still good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with Burger Burger after reading all the good reviews online.
The BB fried chicken was the worst I've ever had. Tiny slivers of breast and 70% overcooked batter. The batter was not hot, but instead heavily over spiced. Overall it tasted like burnt onion bhaji.
The kiwi burger was alright, but the beetroot was not sweet and very soggy, right next to the bottom bun which made the bun disintegrate.
The old smokey was the saving grace, but I ordered it well done for my pregnant wife and it was a medium at best. Had to finish cooking it myself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have always loved the freshness and taste and burger burger NM but tonight the food was terrible. Way too much salt on the food and the meat in the burgers was grisly and dry. My fish taco tasted fishy and was so full of just salad that I couldn’t fit it in my mouth. Sadly we won’t be going back. And it was my birthday dinner out :-(

Probably the WORST EXPERIENCE I've had in a restaurant recently!!! The wait tonight was unbelievable. I mean, I can understand if they're busy, but no one updated us at all on how long our food was gonna be... We were seated right in front of the kitchen but they were more concerned about the uber eats orders than to check on us. We waited for 40+ minutes for chips and burger. We are pretty patient and we have worked hospitality too so we understand, but no updates at all from anyone? The server eventually asked if we want free beers as compensation... we don't even drink alcohol, we didnt even order alcohol so why would we want beer?? We asked if we could at least have our milkshake and lemonade off the bill and she said no, lol. OK. Not to mention we waited 40 mins for broccoli and it was burnt?? worst experience ever. Used to love coming here but it's gone down hill... If I could give less than 1 star, I would!???

But tonight, I have to say, I didn't enjoy my uber dinner at all. The bun of the burger (old smokey burger) was over cooked (burnt actually), the patty wasnt evenly cooked, half of it was medium rare as I asked and the other half almost well-done. Plus the curly fries were sadly cold and soft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oooh,by far,one of the best burgers I've had in Auckland till date.
Ordered the Old Smokey and the Kiwi classic and in sides ordered the curly fries and bb fried chicken.
Lucky to get parking right outside in Newmarket.
Service and ambience was great and definitely good value for money.
