★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swimming in rivers is one of my favorite pastimes and there is no better swimming hole than this! Crystal clear water, gentle flow, great jumping spots, and friendly for the kids. The water was very warm to (mid Jan). Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can be busy at the height of summer, particularly when everyone wants to take a swim. If you head through the camp site and get in up stream a bit it seems to be less crowded. Some fairly easy walks up to waterfalls when swimming isn't an option. Cafe and toilets make Pelorus user friendly.
