★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just had a very pleasant evening with the team at Pembroke Wines and Spirits in Wanaka. This was such a lovely experience. We ended up having gin and beer tasting paddles. Nadia was friendly, knowledgeable, bright, interesting and overall a great host. In fact so was the other guy (sorry didn’t hear your name). The platter we had was also just perfect. I strongly recommend a visit and we will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being disappointed by the lake front bars we came across this gem of a place. It easy a nice surprise to find bar an eatery as part of the set up. Good vibe, food and good local knowledge, will be passing on this gem to friends

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous shop with a nice 4 glass tasting, a little card of information was also provided with each wine and we were told of the replacements which were local as well. Great wines, fantastic boards of cheese and chutney. Highly recommend it. My favourite was the chardonnay ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for a mid week tasting during school holidays. Fabulous hostess, Nadia who was really knowledgeable and so friendly and welcoming. My husband enjoyed the beer tasting paddle while I had the mixed wines. Delicious and great to hear about each one. We ordered the meat and cheese platter, warmed camembert and also garlic smoked mussels... so so yummy. Our children loved being a part of this rather adult lunch and despite this were not at all out of place and were completely welcome.
We ended it on a lovely aperol spritz each and chose a few favourites from the well stocked shop of many boutique options that you won't generally find in the supermarket, to take home. I would totally recommend this place, we loved the atmosphere and from start to finish, this was a very special and enjoyable experience, we will definitely do this again on our next visit to beautiful Wanaka. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nadia & team were exceptionally helpful all the way through the process of providing drinks for our daughters wedding. As we were from out of town, they took care of everything, provided excellent advice and nothing was a problem.Their service was fantastic....thoroughly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem! It looks like just a bottle store but it's so much more. A gin and beer tasting turned into a night of entertainment with great food and more tastings. You can do tastings of beer, whiskey, wine, gin - something for everyone. Never been to a place with so many tasting options.
Andrew was knowledgeable, very attentive and clearly loves his job - you'd think he was the owner! He's so passionate about his job we had to go back the next night for a cocktail tasting!
Troy and Nadina are lovely and have a great attitude to customer needs and service - a winning formula.Highly recommend hanging out here - oh and you must have a platter or two - Troy's a chief and knows good food too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding establishment. Fantastic hospitality. Andrew was a wealth of knowledge and super attentive to our drinking palates. The platters were delicious. It was the best night we’ve had in years. Cosy, intimate atmosphere. Totally recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Wanaka for a few nights and what better thing to do on a rainy day than tastings.
My wife did wine tasting, i did whiskey and the choices given to us by staff were spot on, absolutley fantastic.
We also got the cheeseboard which was great and very generous helpings.
Staff also recommended dining options around town, seriously coukd not have had a better experience.
