★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately there is no six-star rating :) This beautiful little coffee shack serves delicious coffee for take away and to enjoy there. There are so many little details in the shack that just highlight the love they put into this place. They managed to put a smile on my face every single morning I went there. After just two days they remembered my name, which just shows how focused they are on their customers. I enjoyed the friendly conversations, and will certainly miss this place (similar to Wanaka overall :)).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic. I am Barista, so finding a place where coffee is the priority is refreshing. A small place, the whole experience is very intimate! She stretched the milk properly and had decent extraction through the Lamarzocco. The cold brew was exceptionally delicious. I cannot wait to return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Coffee Shack is part of an interesting little food truck scene on Brownston Street in the town centre of Wanaka. It is situated just next to the Charlie Brown Crepes at the Dungarvon Street intersection. Opening hours are 6.30am to 2pm on Monday to Friday (closed on weekends).
I stopped here early one morning recently and enjoyed a Long Black (NZ$3.5). The drink was well made and tasted fine - what I expected of a Long Black coffee.
I liked the shack arrangement and decor. It was a nice atmosphere to stop and enjoy a coffee. Otherwise, just take-away to have while browsing shops in the Town Centre or to perhaps enjoy by the lake.
In the end, this seemed like a good local business worth supporting during visits to Wanaka.

To be honest, I only went there as I liked the coffee shop style and didn’t expect to get a really fine coffee! A place like that in a small town and still serving an epic coffee that I will remember for long ! And sitting on the pavement is a joy it self. Thank you for providing such a quality coffee..
