Accused us of smoking and threatening to call police, threatened to kick us out with no refund within us being there for 20 minutes.
Smoke alarms went off all through the night.
Would not stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. Much nicer than I could have expected. Minute I stepped into the building it smelt clean and welcoming. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large and well ventilated with a comfortable bed and a huge cupboard for our luggage. The bathroom was clean and toilet seat protectors were provided. The shower was amazing, with fantastic water pressure. Towels and soap were provided. I left wishing I could have stayed longer. Such a comfortable place. And Hello the cat was adorable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommend to all , friendly and helpful . We only stayed there one night , internet wasnt working in our room only ?at the time but we didnt care , worth it , friendly , supportive , welcoming , clean room especially the shared bathroom . High recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked accommodation over a week ago for three nights. Tried multiple times through message and phone to contact about a change of dates three days before with no response. Turned up to accommodation to find out there was no accommodation available at all so will have to pay a lot more than I had budgeted for. I explained I had tried multiple times to make contact with no response. Very poor service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked through Booking.com and received our confirmation number. BUT, when we arrived the night receptionist on duty told us there was rooms available!!
But, we said, we booked this accommodation back in April, as we had done so in the passed?? We are very unhappy with the place. There was nothing we could do and they offered no other explanation, except to say they were booked out. We had to travel further south to get accommodation. We will NEVER BOOK the PENNY'S HOTEL ever again.

Great showers. Coffee and tea available gratis. Plenty of parking. A short walk to the Irish pub for eats. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
