Me and my wife wanted to spend a nice and romantic New Years Eve there as she is pregnant so last chances to have time together.
When we arrived and wanted to enter the property at 2pm which is the check in time, the cleaners stopped us saying it hasn’t been cleaned so we can’t go in. Their excuse was that they had to clean the other apartments as well so couldn’t finish it. So we went shopping to make a simple dinner as it should have had an equiped kitchen as advertised. there was no cooktop or any cooking equipment in the kitchen just 3 sets of plates and cutlery, a sandwich toaster and a microwave. Even the microwave is placed so high I couldn’t easily use it or all the food would end on my head when taking out. Not a safe place for it for sure.
The “kitchen” area supposed to have a sofa bed and a desk or so but instead, two single beds was put in and nothing else! The whole apartment didn’t have any table or chairs to sit down at all!!! We could eat (drink, chat etc) standing or sitting on the beds. The TV is just above the single bed so you couldn’t watch it either.
So we had to go out for dinner but by the time we got back there was no any parking spot on the street and there is NO PARKING on the site although it was advertised as free parking! Lots of searching for off street parking and walkin followed... By then they ruined our whole day/night there.
Other than a bed and a hot shower, they do not offer anything! It’s less equipped than a hotel room but for a way higher price! Definitely not an apartment!
We stayed in huts, youth hostels, spa hotels etc in New Zealand but this was the worst of all for a fortune! Paid over NZD200 for nothing just pain!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely serviced apartment. Modern interiors...grey n white in colour....quite spacious bedroom....Enough for a small family of three... Small kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator but no cooking gas .dishes are minimal. A washing machine is a boon however dryer is missing....so getting the clothes to dry in winter is a problem....WiFi is very slow......on phone it's ok but laptop doesn't seem to connect at all....once booking is confirmed...an email with clear instructions is given...that's nice ....however the phone communication for any issues is poor.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor overall quality. The design meant to be modern and minimalist but it’s sooo minimal, it’s almost nothing there other than a bed.
No cooking tools/equipments, NO TABLE OR CHAIRS at all, NO PARKING!
The door opens to the bedroom which can’t actually be opened because of the curtain behind it which has to be closed otherwise everyone can look in.
Nothing makes sense there or designed thoughtfully. Waste of a heaps of money!
