★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good playground and lots of room to run around. Also has a toilet. Not a lot of shelter so can be windy and you'll definitely need to remember your sunscreen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So the park looks good but we never found it. There may be multiple entrances so just check carefully before disembarking with four children as to where it actually is. The reserve itself must be quite large including a cycle track. As to the actual play park who knows. Google sent us into the dunes and we came across some unimpressed cyclists!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to sit back and think. Great variety of bird life, the place even has a bird watching area. Just be aware of the rabbit holes while walking. Kapiti is getting over run with them at the moment. Great playground for the kids and a flying fox.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great park for exercising the dog or the kids! Has a large hide for watching/photographing the bird life on the lakes. Large open spaces and a playground for the kids, with a couple of picnic tables too. Unfortunately at the moment there's not much space for parking as it seems to have been fenced off with industrial equipment, maybe they're planning on doing drainage works? Not sure. Other than that it's a lovely, quiet spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park, with a nearby lake. There are also some good gravel bike trails across the road. However the park is a bit out the way and isnt in a popular location.
