β β β β β Good honest food, always enjoy any meal I've had there. I think Lebanese food is very nice and the married couple and their family work there, it has been a unique place for along time in Wellington.

β β β β β The food here is outstanding and authentically Lebanese. I grew up eating Lebanese food (made by my Lebanese immigrant grandmother and other family) and there is nowhere else you can get Lebanese food like this in Wellington (eg kibbeh balls, Lebanese spinach and feta pies, Lebanese style vine leaves). Other Middle Eastern food in Wellington is generic and westernised. The hummus is the best I have ever tasted (and I have travelled throughout the Middle East). I expect the negative reviews are from people who are expecting food like you get from generic kebab shops.

β β β β β Was about to buy a falafel but the grumpy lady running the front service and kitchen wasn't wearing a mask. I said I'd changed my mind because she wasn't wearing a mask and left. Disappointing that the restaurant doesn't take Covid seriously
