★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish and chips here are great! The classic cheeseburger was really delicious. I'd be coming back to try other menu. The place is busy when I came in the evening so be ready to wait. The price is around 7-14nzd for fish and 6-8 for chips. But it's all worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was super excited to try the jalapeño popper, (as I am a fiend for the Peño) but was $4.90 for one medium popper. Addition of lime and mozzarella was nice, but batter was not crispy enough! I want that crunch!! The experience, however, was saved by the yummy chips and the super nice chica taking our order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced. Didn't find anything special about the fish n chips compared to our normal place, where we get fresh fish and much cheaper. We spent $48 for 2 pieces of fish and chips. That would only cost less than $20

I guess this is how it works now, you build up a name for yourself, build your brand, and then completely give up on all your standards as you have enough of a “name” no one will care anymore if you provide terrible quality and poor service.
