β β β β β Finally a late-night (ish) restaurant in central Christchurch. Stumbled upon this place when I googled to see if there was anywhere to go out and eat after 10pm. This place is open till 11.30pm.
The food was really good, although I thought the portion size of the crispy pork (pictured) could have been larger. Excellent service too. Five stars for making late night food outings a possibility in the city centre.

β β β β β First rate. Every dish was cooked perfectly, hot, delicious and just right.
By far the best Chinese in Christchurch that we have gone to so far, with an emphasis on Szechwan food.
No tacky plastic photographs on the windows or the menus to guide you through the menu choices, instead be brave, trust your instincts or ask the waiter. We talked through the menu with one of the owners of the establishment, she discussed the options, she was great, her understanding of her menu and dishes was very instructive and in turn resulted in a wonderful night out dining.
This places deserves you to sit in its seats, to fill it's spaces, to eat and be happy that you listened to my advice, bon appetit!

β β β β β Good place for yum char lunch. Friendly helpful staff, and food is good. Very tidy decor, clean and well presented. Very low-key entrance, you can't see inside, we initially thought it was closed, but fortunately decided to walk right up to the door to see if it would slide open (and it did). The yum char is prepared to order, some of the final prep on the dishes are "fresh", but while that's good, if you're in a hurry, ask the staff if there's going to be any extended wait (we waited half an hour for our tarts, which were very nicely baked).

β β β β β First time coming here and I'm incredibly amazed! We came for yumcha and everything right from the booking, service, and of course, food, was fantastic!
Servers and menus offered in both Chinese and English. Well spaced environment and doesn't feel cramped. They have private dining rooms you can book (with a minimum spend) for larger groups. Food was so delicious! Offering the standard yumcha classics (hargow, siu Mai, Dan tarts etc) but they also have a specialty menu with twists on the original staples which were great too.
The dinner menu looks great too, will definitely come back to test it out some time. Wishing this place the best during this trying times! Will definitely bring some more friends here ?

β β β β β Not the cheapest option for dim sum in town but taste-wise one of the best. Highly recommend their soup as this is a signature thing for the restaurant. Excellent service quality and very fresh ingredients. If you are somewhat a big eater you may need to order lots of plates. But overall a place that I will definitely regular come for a nice treat.
