โ โ โ โ โ Been meaning to go here for years and it turns out I've really been missing out. Piatti had delicious, authentic food at a fair price. Our host was lovely, and it makes a huge difference to the standard of service when the Maรฎtre d' is also the co-owner. Nothing was a problem and there was attention to detail. I'll be going back for sure, and next time with more guests.

โ โ โ โ โ Authentic Italian owned and operated restaurant. It is fantastic to have them around the corner. Their personable service and passion for food brings back fond memories. Highly recommend if you arenโt sure what to do for dinner or an easy night out on the shore. We had traditional style carbonara - it was exactly as we hoped.

โ โ โ โ โ Great selection of delicious authentic Italian cucina (cuisine) from this family owned and operated restaurant in Waiake, North Shore. The vino (wine) list is a little light, but does have a some interesting looking Italian wines, and also to their credit, has a BYO option at a very fair corkage, so you can bring the perfect bottle to suit your taste.
I took my fiancรฉ there for the first time about a month ago, on a Friday night, the place was almost full, the atmosphere was warm and homely, and the cameriera (waitress) was very friendly and attentive, with detailed knowledge of the menu and options. We then received our antipasto platter and wine quickly, but that was followed by was an unacceptably long delay in the subsequent courses being presented. This may have been due to recent easing of covid restrictions and not predicting the subsequent surge in mecenatismo (patronage). However, to their credit, the manager brought us out complimentary wine refreshments and apologies, even though we did not complain about the service ???.
Overall - friendly, genuine, authentic, delicious, homely, local eatery. Well worth a return visit or two to try some of the other appetizing looking dishes on the menu...

โ โ โ โ โ Wow! We knew it would be excellent food, but this was next level. The staff were not only extremely friendly and attentive but read the group so well that even the kids were kept happy.
Large groups are not always easy but we all left very full and very happy.
Could not recommend more!
