I got what I needed for a good price! Do not bother contacting parts shop if you are looking for a used part. I've wasted enough time when them for days.

Check online for stock and part needed (if sold) before going. Bring your own tools. Broken part will be sold the same price though

Awesome place. Could spend hours if I only knew more about cars myself.. Can spend a bit of time on the way out - thorough checks at the exit, as expected really. Remember to write down the salvage car number - a must for payment.

After removing parts from a car I'm told not this one the white haired lady, I said it's on the paperwork you gave me, she then picked up a headlight I had taken of a honda, mumbled an expletive and threw it into the engine bay of the car.The lady then turned to me and said we close in 2mins, the time was 4:40. Great way to waste an afternoon. Thanks Pickapart Avondale. Never again

Hard work trying to find the part I needed. Not for the faint hearted. Sadly none of the parts I needed. $4 for two of us to spend 40mins looking. Lady in office really friendly and helpful. Thank you Christina ?

Recently I went to this yard to get an inverter cooling pump from a prius. The counter wanted to charge me $290 for that. It is a deal of $60 for an aftermarket new part. I showed her the trademe listing and she reject to compare. She called for advise and took more than ten minutes and the queue behind got longer and longer. Finally they charged me $65 which is not a fair price. As I need the past urgently and already spent my time to disassemble from the car, I bought it unwillingly. The counter is absolutely lack of professional knowledge of parts and over charge me. A very bad experience. But the branch of mangare is much better.

Very friendly and helpful ladies on the front counter. It's also for a small fee a very affordable place for spare parts for whatever car you have. The only problem is that you have to take the part out yourself and it's annoying if you don't know that much. Would be cool to have someone permanently on site who could get parts for you.
