S	Sanil Prasad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my vehicle to Pit Stop Whakatane as there were some noises coming from the suspension while driving. I left my car at 8am and they were supposed to let me know what the issue with the car was but after waiting for a few hours I didn’t get a call so during my lunch break I decided to stop by and asked them what the problem was with the car and I was told by 1 of the senior mechanics that there’s absolutely no noise coming from the car and they had apparently spent half an hour on the car and he said he didn’t want to waste anymore time on it. The mechanic was rude and arrogant and seemed to brush off my questions as he was clearly not interested in fixing my car as he said that according to their records I had previously take a quotation but didn’t get back to get the repairs done by them. That was very unprofessional and petty behaviour. I took the car to another garage for a second opinion. Within minutes this garage told me that it was the steering rack that was the issue and was definitely causing the noise. They were surprised that Pit Stop couldn’t find that. If I could give Pit Stop 0 star I would happily do so. I don’t recommend Pit Stop as they can not be trusted to actually check you vehicle out and to provide fair and accurate services. Also to PitStop, I suggest you guys learn how quotations work! Providing quotations is a service you as a garage have to provide and does not mean that the customer is obligated to get repaired done by you just because you have given a quotation!
