★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went into the store on sun with my replacement part I needed I left it with them so they could order a new one as they didn't have any in stock I was told I would get a call on Monday with price and availability no call till thurs wanting more info very poor when I need to use my tool daily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I’m sorry Placemakers Cranford Street but have to post this. Purchased some Hunter pop up sprinklers from here and after fitting could not get them to rise due to lack of pressure. Not Placemakers fault but after one initial trial and the pop ups being still in new condition they would not take them back and exchange for other goods. Very disappointing in that in the year previous I had spent close to $100000 with them building a new house. So that being what it is all my dealings in the future will be with Mitre 10 and Bunnings where I have had any problem exchanging items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fail of you have a job and need stuff. Mitre 10 is the way forward.no point selling stuff that needs parts but doesn't have them eg nail gun no nails.
Deck jacks no spikes......pointless

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware - only shop here if absolutely necessary. VERY expensive compared to other hardware suppliers. Manager unapologetic and blasé regarding pricing discrepancy, or doing anything about it. (The guy on the counter was somewhat sympathetic, however).
